P9. IJmuiden – Lisbon (Cascais)
!! Last-minute € 550 !! ! Still place for 1 woman!
The fourth World Tour of the Anne-Margaretha is about to begin!
Upon departure, we experience a spectacular journey from IJmuiden along the Belgian and French coasts. Usually we sail over to Alderney, one of the Channel Islands, and go ashore there.
Then we start crossing the Bay of Biscay. Chances are that we’ll see lots of dolphins and whales!
A few years ago a group of gray whales was swimming around the Anne-Margaretha and Sam and Esther could not resist going into the water wearing flippers and wetsuits to see these animals a bit closer up…. All very exciting and impressive, and of course the photos were phenomenal!
Along the coast of Spain, we hope that the weather will allow us to visit the Cies Islands for lounging and swimming.
The journey now goes further to the south and finally we will enter the the marina of Cascais, at the beginning of the river Taag.
This is also the end of the first leg.
Buses or trains bring you to Lisbon and to the airport.
