Still a Successful Season!
The run-up to the 2021 season was very difficult and uncertain. Our nimbleness was truly put to the test! We had to cancel five of the eleven trips due to precautionary measures; there was that surprise engine predicament and quick replacement, and to top that off, the entrance rules to Norway and Spitsbergen were unclear for a long time….

Nevertheless, we braved the odds in June and left. In Norway the reactions to our arrival were interesting: mostly positive, but sometimes understandably wary: “What were we doing here???”

Fortunately, we were able to make our planned trips from Spitsbergen and perhaps partly because of the festive feeling: we are allowed to sail again…, the mood among the groups on board was very upbeat!

We can look back now on wonderfully successful trips with nice people on board to beautiful Greenland, astonishing Iceland and the remote and stunning Faroe Islands.
And the icing on the cake was that in October, we successfully sailed the Race of the Classics Young Professionals.

The Anne-Margaretha is now enjoying a well-earned rest in Enkhuizen, where she will spend the winter.

Preview of the 2022 season
We are of course already busy with the next season. Because 2021’s first trips were postponed to 2022, two are already fully booked. (M3, M5)

Change of the Sailing Schedule 2022!
The 2022 Season has morphed a bit:
Trips M9 (Bodø-Iceland), M10 (Iceland-Greenland-Iceland), M11 (Iceland-Netherlands) are cancelled!
Instead, we will make a 20-day trip from Bodø along the Norwegian coast to the Netherlands (Enkhuizen), visiting the Svartisen glacier, the Preikestolen and islands where we can hike. This will be an adventurous combination of sailing, hiking, enjoying nature..! More detailed information will be on the site shortly.

Where are places still available?
We still have vacancies on the following trips:
M1 (Enkhuizen-Bergen)
M2 (Bergen Bodø)
M6 (Spitsbergen 2, this trip has unexpectedly become free again, so we can still book people for this trip!)
M7 (Spitsbergen-Tromsø)
M8 (Tromsø- Bodø = Lofoten trip 2)
M9 (NEW! Bodø- the Netherlands, via the Norwegian coast)

There are a few availabilities on the trip:
M4 (Tromsø-Spitsbergen 2pl.)

We wish everyone a beautiful and peaceful autumn!

Best regards,
Greet and Heinz
