Wintertime
The Anne-Margaretha is wintering in Spaarndam along the shore until she starts up again on May 1 with trips to the High North!  Apart from a few remaining chores, the ship is ready for the new season.
We look back on a great year which ended with the exciting Race of the Classics for Young Professionals; we actually went home with a trophy for 3rd Place, shared with Team KPN! We even won the second race from England!  The Anne-Margaretha was wonderfully loose (= nice sloping) and along with the crew’s excellent team spirit, we did very well.

The 2019 Season
Next year, our program offers 11 sailing trips.  On  May 1 we leave for beautiful Norway, then continue via Bearisland to Spitsbergen in the Arctic.  In Spitsbergen we will make 3 wonderful trips and then upon our return via Tromsø, we strike out to Iceland, a new destination for us!
From there, we will explore the east coast of Greenland with a group, sailing back to Iceland together.  Finally, we’ll sail for a few days via the Icelandic east coast to the Faeroe Islands / Shetlands/ Orkneys (?), returning to the Netherlands on October 1st.

Places May Still be Available
Some trips are already fully booked, but on the following routes we currently have some availabilities:
G1: Spaarndam-Bergen
G2: Bergen-Bodø (1 woman)
G5: 1st Spitsbergen trip
G8: Spitsbergen-Tromsø
G9. Tromsø- Iceland
G11. Iceland-the Netherlands
