The last days in Spitsbergen …
While many of you lived in the heat here, we enjoyed, most of the time, wonderful weather about 1000 km from the North Pole (between 5-19 degrees now and then…).
The last 6 weeks we have been in the beautiful High North: Spitsbergen! We look back on very special trips there: a happy, creative trip, a geologists trip (also new interesting areas for us!) and a “children’s trip”: with 6 girls aged 3-7 years old (with their parents ..) we made an impressive trip to almost 80 ﹾ north and have seen a lot of belugas and 5 (!!) polar bears.
The Anne-Margaretha is now on her way to make the trip to Tromsø: first a few days along the west coast of Spitsbergen, then the crossing to Bear Island and finally along some islands on the Norwegian coast to Tromsø.
We will be back next year!
Still free places in 2019?
Unfortunately, we are fully booked to the Netherlands, but next year will come faster than you think …
The program for 2020 is online!
The Dutch version of our 2020 program can be read on our website. The English version will follow soon!
Both the outward and return journeys to and from Spitsbergen go along the Norwegian coast. So twice a Lofoten trip next year!
We already have bookings on multiple trips. If you want to be sure of a place on board, don’t wait too long to register ..!
New descriptions for 2020 will follow later, but globally, all journeys can be read in the 2019 program.
We wish everyone a very nice summer!
Sailor greetings,
Greet and Heinz
